We believe in a better world
God has gifted us with responsibility and given us a ministry of reconciliation. We take this seriously. Whilst many in our Parish engage in missional activities individually or in families and groups, these below are our activities as a Parish.

For young children and mums, we run Mums and Bubs.
St Peter's is starting up a space for Mums of Gonville School after drop off once a week.
For youth we run 24/7 youthwork at Rutherford Junior High school.
For those who struggle to get a good meal, we run 2 Friendship lunches each week and support City Mission.
For our older folk, we run Story Club fortnightly.
For our intellectually disabled, we run Bible Friends each Tuesday.
For those grieving, we run the bereavement course.
For the lonely, we run an alongsider service, called 'Kei te taha', of mentoring.
We support Tuia Rau, the community meal at Rutherford each Thursday.

We also support some overseas mission organisations -
Most especially NZCMS and Mercy Mission,
We are also a certified Fair Trade Church,
using Common Good Coffee and sourcing our tea from Trade Aid.
Along with other churches in the Wellington Diocese we submitted
a significant number of submissions for the zero carbon bill.
