First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.  1 Timothy 2:1-2
Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints. Ephesians 6:18

Whanganui Anglican has opportunities for prayer in services, home groups, prayer meetings and through the Church Prayer Chain.

We gather to worship and pray at each of our Sunday services.

Additional to this we have two Weekly Prayer gatherings: Monday midday at Christ Church, and Thursday, 9pm at 96 Harrison St.

We also have a monthly Prayer and Praise service (usually 4th Sunday of each month)

A prayer room is also available for use, provided by the St John’s Wood Fellowship.  A Eucharist is held at the rooms at 5:45pm each Wednesday
